Free Weight Workouts

Free weights are amazing tools to help you build muscle easily and effectively. My free weight workouts are all metabolic resistance training. This means that they build muscle, but they give you a great cardio workout as well—all in one!

The free weight workouts below use various kinds of equipment, all in my (tiny) home gym. Most are a combination of kettlebells, dumbbells and a sandbag, with a healthy dose of bodyweight exercises and plyometrics to keep the heart ticking.

I use adjustable kettlebells and dumbbells so I can vary up the resistance. If you have a gym available, they should have all the free weights you need. If not, you can always modify.
